About Don Quintana
Don Quintana is by the NRHA Million Dollar Sire and NRHA Hall of Famer Topsail Whiz and out of Ms Maggie Jac by 1st NRHA Million Dollar Sire and NRHA Hall of Famer Hollywood Jac 86. He is the full brother to Ghost Buster Baby, ($14,719) also owned by Francois.

Don Quintana was bred and raised at Bob Loomis Ranch and purchased by Francois Gauthier in 1999 to compete at the first USET Nations Cup in Gladstone, NJ, just 3 weeks prior to the show. After a few days, Francois realized this horse was much more  than he expected. He knew he was a huge stopper, had a big turn around and great attitude, but there was something else that made Don Quintana special. It was his incredible disposition that convinced Francois he would be a great sire.

Don Quintana began his breeding career in 2001 with just a 2 mares brought to his court. He now has 82 AQHA and 1 APHA registered foal on the ground with 29 foals of performance age and 22 foals to show. His get are NRHA money earners of $10,000 (as of April 2007) and AQHA performance point earners.  Don Quintana is a proven sire and each year more mares are brought to his court as people realize the athletic talent and great dispositions of his offspring. His get are a mirror images of not only his outstanding looks and abilities, but all the other qualities that make him an exceptional horse.
